My desk top will not boot up? not even the bios starts, it's all balck. when I turn it on the hard drive starts but the monitor never starts up. when I plug in my labtop and I turn it on the power starts it up, so I know it's not the monitor. Any ideas what could be the problem? the computer is less then 10 months old, 850MHZ, Intel 3, win 98 492 of ram. I'm going to call the guy that build it but I jsut want to see if anyone has any ideas. Please help

If you didnt make any changes to your cpu , like add some device I would say take it back to your builder, i think its burnt up. But make sure all connections are securly attached , then go from there.
