When Im buring MP3s onto a disc in Nero 6.0.9 the info bar at the top of the burning page is dispaying a value about 10 times greater than the actual value of the files in the window. I burned a demo off yesterday, 8 files comprising of 22 megs but Nero burned 245 megs onto the disc and at that rate Im only gonna get about 10 songs to a cd.
Any idea why its doing this and how do I stop it?

It would seem that you're recording an audio CD, and that Nero is converting your MP3s to raw WAVE format before burning them onto a CD-R.
I'm not personally using Nero, but try to look around and see if you can record a CD-R in data mode; not audio mode - or whatever it's called in Nero. :)

If you are using the wizard ( at least in Nero 5.5), the third screen asks what type of disk you want to make. Select Data. If you select music, it will convert from MP3 to wave as it is burning.
