I just got a Raidmax case that has front panel LEDs and a side case fan. It didn't come with any directions and I am confused to how to plug everything in. Both the LED and Side Fan has both a female and male 4 pin connector. How do I connect these?

The front panel connectors go into the motherboard. They should each be labeled and if you download your motherboard specs from the manufacturers web site you can find where they go. If the case is standing up normally and your facing the motherboard with the side up the connectors are usually on the bottom right side of the mobo. As far as fan connectors for the sides, these are connected to the power leads coming off the power supply. The female and male and male connectors on at the end of the fan wires are for daisy chaining devices together to attach to one power connector.

It helps to have a magnifying glass for looking at the fine-print screened onto the motherboard headers where the case leads connect...

The Power lead and the Restart lead shouldn't make any difference on their polarity...they're just "dumb" momentary switches that simply complete a circuit.

The LEDs for Power and Drive activity do need correct polarity to work. If they don't work initially, just reverse...

If you're up to it at some point, you might want to consider removing the 12V fans from the motherboard headers and connect them directly to the power supply. There are connectors that still connect to the fan header for RPM recognition, but keep the 12V continuous power away from the motherboard.

Round IDE cables might also be in your future...they work great for ease of air flow...
