Hi, everyone. Happy Saturday! I have a DVD burner on the way and have just a few general questions.
1. Can DVD's be packet written as CD-R's and RW's can be?
2. Can the DVD-R be finalized as CD-R's can be?
3. If so, does the DVD disk need to be formated first?
4. If it does, how long does it take to format a DVD-R and DVD-RW?

Shanmuga or anyone, could you expand on these answers a bit...
I'm using EZCD 5 with Windows 2000 Pro. If I make a DVD project, do I need to leave some room on the DVD for closing the project out? If so, how much?
(I only want to back up some files from my hdd.)
