Last night my system locked up and when i restarted it i got nothing but a black screen and my nother board was beeping. After looking up the codes for the beeps in the book it said i had a memory problem (RAM) so today i went out and bought another stick of RAM. I use DDR ram. Well when i put it in it did the same thing. I did leave the old stick out. It is an Epox MB and a brand new stick of PNY 128 DDR ram 266mhz. Any ideas???

What was going on when your system locked up? Had you added anything recently, software, hardware, tupperware? Did I just say that?! LOL

Do you have a way to test all components involved?(RAM, Vid card, Monitor)
