Everytime i close Internet Explorer i get the message "Do you wish to close the connection?" to my internet. Im trying to get rid of this and can't find out how. Any help will be appreciated. Its dial up. Thx.

Sounds like a pop-up from your DUN. Have you checked the dialing settings Tab of the DUN folder? Go to DialUp Networking and right click on the relevant folder and choose Properties (or select File from the Menu Bar and select Properties). This may not work if the pop-up arises from a customised connection manager provided by some ISPs.

do this: In IE browser, click Tools>> internet options>> click Connections TAB>> click on your default connection>> click Settings>> your account properties box will be open.

at the bottom you will see Dial-up settings>> click advanced>> uncheck "Disconnect if idle", and "disconnect when connection is no longer needed".

that should do it.

(changes will take effect the next browser window you open, not in the current.... most likely)

I get the same message under XP. If you re open your browser the message goes away without having to click on anything.
