I screwed somebody’s computer over real good and I hope someone can help me. I am unable to boot into Windows 2000 Pro. It was working fine before, but when I installed drivers for the printer and pcAnywhere one right after the other, it won’t boot into Win2K. It just keeps rebooting. I have a dual boot configuration with Win 98 so at least this person can boot into Win 98 and surf, check email, etc. This is what I’ve tried: I tried booting using the Last Known Good Configuration but that didn’t work. I tried booting into Safe Mode and that didn’t work. I booted from the Win2K CD and tried the Fast Repair option and that didn’t work. This person did not make an emergency repair disk –after this is resolved, we’ll make one http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif . Also, this person does not have a backup. The only thing I can think of is booting from the CD-ROM and reinstalling over the original. Does anyone have any other ideas?
