I turned on my friends PC and now I hear 4 beeps and the PC automatically shuts down without booting. I have Award bios and a KVZA motherboard. Help!

Award Bios Beep Codes are "normally" only for Video (1 long 2 short) and Ram (all other beeps) as errors are normally displayed on screen.

This can vary due to the MB Manufacturer's adding their own stuff.

I would check with the MB Manufacter and see if they have the codes posted on their site.

One other item....if this Computer is under warranty you don't wanna go "messin" under the hood...it could void the warranty! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
