I am running Win2k pro and have two CD-Rom Drives (one is a CD-RW writer). At one time they automatically started a cd when inserted but now do not. Can't find anywhere that you can turn that feature back on. Looked in Device Manager and control panel with no luck. Any ideas?

Right click on My computer, click on Device Manager, CD-ROM drives, setting for auto-insert notification is within Settings.

As I mentioned in my post I had gone to Device Manager and already clicked on the cd's properties, but there were only 3 tabs...General, Properties and Driver. None had any settings to enable autorun. I even looked for an autorun.inf...no luck. Remember I am using Win2k. Any other suggestions?

See bottom of this page (http://www.tycho7.com/Software/Win2k/win2000_tricks.htm).

Sorry. My Windows version has 4 tabs - General, Properties, Settings and Driver. Auto insert notification is under Settings.

Thought yours might be the same.
