I recently purchased an AZ11EA motherboard, and am using my Thunderbird 1.4 CPU in it. Everything is working fine, however, its showing the processor to be an Amd Athalon(tm) processor in my system properties -- now I don't recall offhand if it ever showed as a Thunderbird before, and I guess it really doesn't matter [or does it]. I just basically would like to know if this is an issue, or a problem. I have a utility that I use when I get on IRC, that shows system properties, and IT shows the system to be an Amd Thunderbird 1400, but the system info, once again shows it as Amd Athalon 1.4. Just wanted to see if this was anything that I should be concerned about. Thanks!

Nope, it is just the way certain programs read the ID data...now if it were showing up as a Duron then there might be cause for concern. The t-bird is part of the Athlon family of processors...
