Well, I have a question. A friend have lost all the connection icons. (I
think may be a virus). When I was trying to create a new connection, I inserted the cd but the drive cannot read it. The drive can read other cds. It is a usb adsl kit, windows xp, and the manufacturer is "telefonica" (telephone company in Spain). I think that it is NECESARY use "add new hardware" and the cd may be prepared for not be able to be read directly from "my system" "unit"???

Right click on the CD-ROM drive in Explorer, click Explore, and double click on a file named setup.exe or similar, and see if that works.

Thanks for your answer. At this moment I can't try it, because my friend brought the computer to a technician. The computer had four (4) viruses. Anyway I'll tell him your advice. Thanks, ski.
