Do a search on 'copying VCD files' and on 'invalid Ms-dos function vcd'

I believe you will find that WinNT, Win2000, and WinXP (and maybe WinME)will not copy the .dat files from a VCD. This seems to be by design, perhaps to discourage copying of movies from DVD to VCD, and subsequent dissemination of the files.

You might be able to copy the files with Win98.

So Are you saying that there is no way to get rid of it?? unless I used WIN98??
