If the system is running and then shut down/turned off,when it is turned back on I have no video and no POST is run.If the system is then left over night it will boot and run OK. Any suggestions,cheers for any help.

Sounds like the powersupply is dying, can your swap out the powersupply with another know good one.

Are all the jumpers set right on the motherboard, and all the front hdd leads and power leads hook up correctly, Maybe there a short in one of those hdd leads or power leads, and when its off for a while then it gets enough power to boot again.

All jumpers are set to default,and all plugs are ok as far as Ican tell.
I'm going to re mount the heat sink with some better compound,'n' pray.
