Hey i messed up again, like most techs do. My ram from my brain is withering away.
Ok i overburned a cdr, like it was 702mb and i try to burn it, with only 700mb cdr. So when it started to finalize , the burner started clicking(plexwriter). So i rebooted twice and try to burn something and it did ok , also it read cds also. Think i should take it back or, do you think its ok?

if it works on another burn/read ? why would you feel it's necessary to replace it?

Give it awhile-try a few more CD's with it, if it still operates fine-then don't worry about it. By the way i have a Plextor also and it has a built in overburn protection feature that prevents the laser from " re-frying " itself, so you should be ok. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

Yeah i was thinking maybe some kind of latent effect would occur and would brake and it would brake right when the warranty would expire,.
I think its a 1yr warranty, maybe 3yr, not sure you know?
