Have an Acer, that I just sold to a friend. It worked just fine last time I used it. Now, nothing. When you depress the power button.....nothing.

I have tried a different power cord. I suspect either a bad power switch or a bad power supply (where the power cords connects to the actual pc).

This is a new road for me, and I was just curious to see what everyone's thoughts might be as far as where to start and what to look for.

First thing to do would be to open it up and make sure that nothing got jostled loose in moving it...then try resetting the BIOS (either with the jumper or removing the battery).
