I have a IBM Thinkpad Laptop 365X with a floppy disc & no cd-rom operating system is windows 98SE.

After being online about 10 minutes a message comes up "you have performed an illegal act the system will shut down."

Off I go......until I restart & go back around once more!

Any assistance you may be able to give will be greatly appreciated.

Get on line and download a copy of FireFox (http://www.mozilla.org)

If the problem persists with FireFox let us know, if not, You will need to post a Hijack this log as your problem is with IE.
