printer is an hp 1100 laserjet, it has started to squeak whilst printing, I would assume that it is a dry roller, but how to find it/get at it/lubricate it.

any advice welcome thanks.

I Would start here
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?locale=en_US&taskId=125&prodSeriesId=25470&prodTypeId=18972&objectID=bpl05819

Once you have it cleaned from the above link.
You should be able to check the other rolers

thanks rick,

I have now discovered that it is the cartridge which is faulty (by fitting the old one, it is ok) I have written to the supplier, so await their reply.

I have d/l the instructions from the site that you linked and will do a (much overdue) service anyway.

Ouch
The cartridge is making the noise ..
2000 to 2500 prints per :(

I hope for your sake they will replace it
Unless you do a LOT of printing real soon
