I have been running a G-Force Ti-200 video card for about a year with no problems. I have just upgraded the driver to the latest version and have been using it again with no problems. This morning I turned the computer on and I could hear everything booting up as usual (the normal sounds I always hear including the sound card) but the screen just showed the Windows startup and stayed there. I checked that the board was seated well and it was. Went into the safe mode and under device manager went to display adapters and the Nvidia was there. I selected update driver and chose the file where I had the upgrade exe. I then got a message saying that no Nvidia chip set could be found. I have no on board video on the K7S5A. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Go Into control panel
Use add remove programs to remove the driver update

Windows should then be rebooted and it will/should reset itself to the pci/video adapter by default.
You can then install the correct drivers for your card.
When it comes to video drivers.
the latest greatest are not always the best.
