Can anyone help with a processor glich?

Abit KD7..........2500 Barton...had a 2000 AMD XP running fine

installed the Barton ....the most I can in setup is 1466 and something

about an unknown CPU. Now when it boots up it stops in dos and gives me

a choice of F1 continue or delete to enter setup.

Sounds like you need to put the old cpu in.
Then update the bios
Check the abit site for bios support of the new cpu and what bios version supports it
