Hello, Everyone: I just installed (last nite) Zone Alarm on my friends windowsME and even though his Net2fone was working great before this installment,now it seems that when he tries to make a call, the process goes all the way to actually dialing the number, BUT instead of ringing the pc freezes and when i click on CTRL+ALT+DEL it says that ZONE ALARM IS NOT RESPONDING and from there if i try to click on anything, THEN the pc SHUTS DOWN and i have to restart each time! Does anyone know of a problem with (call wave or net2fone) NOT WORKING TOGETHER and How do i correct it? Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated and Thank You TOM

you need to give net2phone permission to access the 'net.

Do this through ZA control panel.

>> maximize controls>> press "Programs" TAB>> scroll until you see net2phone>> replace the red 'x' with a green check mark. (allow to connect)

there may also be an additional setting in your net2phone preferences/connection panel.

Is Net2Phone full screen?

It could be that ZoneAlarm is asking permission for Net2Phone to access the internet and is awaiting a response.

If that is the case, you need configure ZA to give permission for Net2Phone.
Also, just in case, give permission for server for that program too in ZA.
