Hello,

I'm looking at some various rumble game pads: Logitech Wingman Rumble, Saitek P2500, and Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Power 3.

While I was doing some research on these controllers, I have come across some reviews that say that the game has to have the rumble feature programed into it, otherwise the game pad won't rumble.

Is this true? Do you think it's worth spending the extra cash on a gamepad that has rumble?

What you read is correct - The device has a setting to make it vibrate (rumble - whatever) Unless the software sends the correct code to this device, it simply will not rumble.

There may be rumble patches for games available, sorry games aren't my thing so I can't say for definite.

Rumble does - I imagine - give another dimension of 'feel' to a game, just remember not all your games will support rumble, and you may find a few that (possibly) do not support your particular Joystick.
