Hi all!

My number one on my keyboard doesnot work. When I press it I get nothing at all! When I press shift and the number one key I get the exclamation mark ok!!!! As you can see! I got myself a new keyboard and it was still the same. I checked the drivers for the keyboard but to no avail. This is baffling me, can you help as some of my passwords contain the number one!

Sounds like maybe some one was messing with the language or remapped the keys...goto keyboards in the control panel and see if the it is set to English (probably Great Britain) or something like that...as to the remapping, there are utilities for that.

One other possibilty that I can think of is a virus...try running a cpomplete scan (with up to date definitions) or an online scan from someplace like Housecall (http://housecall.antivirus.com/pc_housecall/)...
