Please be more specific:
-Give your complete system specs incl. O/S.
-Describe the problems you're having during startup, and list any error messages.
-Describe the video card installation.

Is this (http://gateway.com/support/techdocs/references/motherboard/0aasn/0aasn2.shtml) your motherboard?

Is the video card an AGP or PCI card?

There could very well be a hardware conflict....if they are PCI cards...try them in a diffeerent slot...if they are AGP cards try the SB in a different slot.

If the other video cards that work are also AGP, then the 32MB Savage card may be bad.
Install it in another machine, if possible. If it does not work, then it's bad.
