I have a computer that I would like to be able to output video to 3 devices from. I need to output 2 signals. Signal 1 would go to the main display, signal 2 would be split between a VGA output (projector) and a composite RCA output (TV).

The computer is an HP, don't have the model number handy, with a built in AGP Radeon adapter (CRT). There is a second video card (PCI Radeon 7000 or 7500) which has outputs for CRT, DVI, and Composite. The system currently outputs to the CRT and Composite on the PCI Card but I can't get it to output on the AGP CRT or the DVI while maintaining the other 2 outputs. Does anyone know if this can be done? Does it require special software or hardware?

The OS is XP Home I believe.

Here's the microsoft link - I'm not sure how much use it is, but it's probably a good place to start:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/learnmore/multimonitor.mspx

Is the system configured to use the onboard AGP first? check the bios to see if it is first on the list - it could be that if you can get a display on there, then you can try adding the displays on the PCI card as well.

As far as I know, you should be able to output to multiple monitors as long as the card supports it, however, I have seen references which state that MS drivers should be used rather than the manufacturer's own.

To satisfy the curiosity of those who might be interested...

I had to go into the BIOS(F1 at boot) and tell it to use the onboard card as the primary display. Once I did that, Windows recognized 3 available monitors (ATI Card will only allow the usage of 2 outputs at a time). I was then able to use all 3 monitors (TV, Projector, and CRT) without any issues.
