I am running a Soyo Dragon Motherboard with an AMD K7 1.4gHz processor. My computer was working fine for months, but now it doesn't boot up. The power light comes on, but I do not get anything else. I can not get to the bios set-up screen. About once every 20 tries, the computer boots up, but freezes soon after. Any suggestions on what could be wrong? Thanks.
By the way I am running with a 300W enermax power supply.

If there were no recent changes to the system these symptoms suggest a bad power supply or overheating processor. Do any fans run at startup? Do you get any error msgs at all?

The fans are running at startup. I am not getting any error messages or beeps. It doesn't seem to get that far. Is there any way to check the power supply without pluggin in a new one? Thanks for the help.

Hey Burgerboy, welcome to the PC Guide.
Do you have another stick of RAM you can try? How about a Vid card?
If you have a Multi-meter, you can test the different voltages (Red-5V+, Yellow-12V+). The PSU plug will need to be attached to the mobo so it will send voltage to the connectors.
