In my new system (Abit KG7, AMD 1.2ghz, West Dig. 20gig...),there is a real high pitch whistle coming from somewhere (inside the case). Any thoughts about where it's coming from and what, if anything to do about it? It's not a loud whistle, just REAL high pitched. Could it be the processor fan or the processor or...I'm suprised my dog isn't barking! Thanks

The best way to determine what is causing the noise is to remove the computer case and determine the source. It's difficult to determine the source with the case installed. It could be coming either from one of the fans or from the hard drive.
Also, contact the supplier. If the noise is extremely loud, then something may be wrong and the computer or the component may have to be replaced.
