When i leave my computer on for awhile it will not come back up after it goes in standby mode. I move the mouse to get the screen back up but nothing happens. the yellow light in the monitor stays on.

Right-click on your desktop and choose properties. Find the screensaver tab and click the power saving settings button. "System standby" should read "Never" - having it set to anything else can cause problems. I'd recommend the same for "Turn off hard disks."
