Generally speaking, how does DVD-R/DVD+R rate in reliability against CD-R?
Do they have about the same expected life, or are they better in this respect?

I am about to move hundreds of CD-R's to DVD-R discs.
(I will keep the original CD-R's in an archive, but they won't be used for general access anymore...)
