I have a SiPix Digital Camera. I bought a new Toshiba Laptop this past summer, and I have been wanting to use my digital camera with it, and as a webcam. I have Windows XP on my laptop, and when I wanted to install the drivers and software for the camera, it said that the camera may not be compatible with this version of Windows. I was using the camera with a computer with Windows ME before, and it worked fine. I have not been able to find information on whether the drivers for this camera will work alright with XP or not. I am wondering if I should try using it, or if the drivers will make problems happen with windows?

SiPix tech support (http://www.sipixdigital.com/)
We would need exact model number to know more but the camera site may be able to answer your question.
Some SiPix products require updated drivers in order to work with Windows XP. In other words, if you have a computer system that’s running XP, you may want to update the driver (by downloading a new one from this site.) For compatibility information, please refer to the CD that accompanied your SiPix product (it will normally list the operating systems that are supported.)

thanks for your help. I found out that it is compatible with XP, and also there is a better driver out now. So I should be set.
