Hi guys
I have a P III 550 MHZ with 64 mb ram, 10 gb HDD, running Windows ME. I have two USB ports, my scanner works fine in one of the USB ports but if i connect my Creative USB video conferencing camera it does not recognize it even after installation of the software. But the same camera works fine with another computer belonging to my friend. Is there any change to be done on the bios settings. pl advise. Regards. Prakashn.

Try and look for a readme.txt on the webcam software cd. It might have some issues with a scanner and webcam running at the same time. If it doesnt have any thing try the webcam manufacturers site and go to a link there called support and look for some info about this issue.
Hope it helps

Hi,

Interestingly enough I very recently bought a Creative Video Blaster Webcam Plus and have found that I have to swap which USB port its plugged into every time I boot up or it doesn't pick it up. I've had no time to really sort this out but maybe that snippet of information might help you.
