I shut down my pc, windows shuts down as normal however the cpu fan and cd led stay on. The pc will only shut off when I disconnect the power at the mains.

Any ideas? :(

What version of Windows are you using? Do you have the latest fixes installed from Windows Update?

I am using xp, with all fixes. Think I will purchase a new psu to see if that will do the trick.
