Welcome to the PC Guide. We need to know what operating system, and what version of Internet Explorer you are using. You can do google search.

Two things to do before going the route of downloading fixes.....
1. Run "Scandisk" on this drive
2.Start System File Checker by clicking Start, pointing to Programs, pointing to Accessories, pointing to System Tools, and then clicking System Information. In System Information, click Tools, and then click System File Checker. This program finds any corrupted Win System files and prompts you to replace them. Corrupted Win98 System files can cause the problems you describe.

XP didn't save Me !
Hi,
You can also run System File Checker by typing sfc in the run box on the start menu. Also somewhere in the murky depths lurks some memory that this file is an Outlook Express file - you could try run the repair Internet Explorer feature which I seem to remember you can access via add/remove programs.....but I could be entirely wrong about that!
