Bought new wireless mouse/kb but mouse refuses to work , my system runs win xp & 2nd partition win me . My old pc which runs win98 has the mouse & kb running no prob , have tried it in the same room in case anything is inrefering with it so no prob there.Anyone any ideas ?.

The wireless KB and mouse are Win XP compatible, right?

Are there any problems with the wireless receiver in Device Manager?

Are the receiver's connectors inserted in the correct ports?

If ok, then see if uninstalling and reinstalling the wireless drivers per the instructions helps.
