Posted question like this about a week ago when I first booted new buid. Eveything works fine so no probs but at boot up the following message always appears before windows comes up .

realtek rtl8139 (a b c ) rtl8130 boot agent press shift-f10 to configure
if you press shift - f10 you get a follow up message (go to flash )

Anyone any ideas a I everthing works ok but the question is puzzling me .

That's related to a Realtek NIC, probably to access the network boot options, I'm not positive since I haven't used it. rtl8130 boot agent should be the card model and boot program that allows the machine to be booted afy receivinf a signal from another machine on the local network.

It should work fine left alone, it's not an error message.

Thanks Pete that was what I was wanting to hear , the board has onboard lan so that would figure , as you said no probs so will leave alone .
