Lately my computer froze a couple times during booting. it stopped while trying to look for boot record on drive C, how do I check and repair the boot record? Please help. Thanks http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Boot to a bootdisk (Startup disk) and at the a:\ prompt type fdisk_/mbr...and then the first thing run scandisk with a surface scan....
