Very simple solution I am sure, I went to friends house to install memory stick, unpkugged all cable to pull out case, Windows 98 system, i think possible gateway system, any way installed memory, plugged cords back in, I guess since I was barely able to see behind case I plugged usb printer in wrong slot. Friend called later to say she could not print returned moved cable over, now computer is talking to printer, lenmark softwar says now printing and it prints nothing but blank page, I tried printing out of note pad and microsoft works nothing, I turned power off unplugged power, restarted computer, Nothing works, any other suggestions, I did not try uninstalling driver and reinstalling, did not seem to be a complicated problem , Iguessed wrong thanks for any help you can give

Remove the printer and uninstall its software from Windows, disconnect the printer, and reinstall the software and printer per the instructions.
Note that the printer may have to be connected and/or turned on during the software installation.

If that does not work, then which port was the printer incorrectly connected to?

Thanks, will try that this weekend and see if that fixes the problem , I just plugged it in the other usb port

Something else that may be the problem, is simply with the print cartridges. Did you make sure those are alright? How old are they? It may be that the blank page is coming out, because there is no ink in the cartridge, or it is dried up, or that the cratridge is not placed in properly. You could try those ideas too.

of course it was something easy, the black ink cartridge, it would print color but not black, even though the indicator shows half full, it was empty, Thanks again for everybody's suggestions. As always try the simple things first
