I have windows 98 version 4.10.1998 on a PII 350mhz. I have been getting illegal operation error alot. When I try to print certain documents from ms word I get an illegal operation error labeled Hpzeng01. Where do I start to track down the problem??

The problem could be with the printer driver.

Uninstall the driver (using the uninstall feature with that printer). Then reinstall the driver. Tha's the simplest way to relolve the problem. If you don't have the dtiver, go to HP's website and get the newest one...you probably want to do that anyway.
