Hello,
My computer starts to slow down after 2 hours or less. Then its impossible to click or close anything. I do that Ctrl + Alt + Delete, but some blue srceen comes up and says windows is unstable and some other stuff like that, but the close program window comes up about 2 minutes later after the blue screen, then the close program windows shows that everything is not responding. then from there everything just quits. I am running windows 98.

Hi, I would check to make sure your CPU fan is working properly so its not over-heating first and check the dust level inside the case(jus an idea). After that(I would)run diagnostics like scandisk, virus software, disk defrag, check hard drive space and (out of?)memory, remove programs you don't use to increase disk space from add/remove programs, empty internet files, etc. If this does not help try booting into safe-mode to see if you can keep it going longer. If it gets past 2hrs. without slowdown it could be software related(though I don't think thats the prob). You also might want to re-install Win.98.High temperature/bad memory might be a factor relating to your problem.Run scan-disk anyway.I might be way off but checking can't hurt.

Guardian: THis is your 4th topic, all identical, you have gotten some excellent suiggestions in the other 3 and have already been asked to respond in your original topic rather than opening a new one.
Go look them up, I'm not answering your question yet again and I don't expect these people to answer it a fourth time either.
