I'am no expert at these things but the first thing I would check for is a loose connection somewhere. In fact, check all your connections from tower to monitor(tight?)Have you bumped or moved the tower?Sometimes thats all it takes. If your connections are good on the outside then shut off power,UNPLUG ALL power(emphasize ALL!)If you feel comfortable with this, remove the tower cover and follow the cable to the back of tower.Make sure that VGA card is in snug in the motherboard and your(cable) connection is tight to the card.If this does not solve your problem I would wait for more "expert" feedback.

You may also want to check the power up and stand by options in your bios settings.

IVE TRYED BOTH OF THESE AND STILL NO JOY,I THINK THAT IT MIGHT BE A BIOS PROBLEM,AS IT TURNS THE MONITOR OF AND FREEZES WHEN ITS ON THE SCREEN THAT SAYS DMI SUCCESS AND IM TOLD THAT ITS STILL IN THE BIOS AT THIS POINT?
