Hello,

I'm trying to setup two hard drives both Maxtor 40gig ata as a mirrored array.

When I get to the part where I install the drivers from a floppy (just before installing XP pro) I get this message.

File \ win2K_x2\iteraid.sys caused an unexpected error (18) at line 2108 in D:\ xpclient\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c.

Both hdd's are working and winxp cd is fine

Can anyone please help me out here I've no idea what this message means?

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-7N00 Pro 2
2xMaxtor hdd's (same models)

I hope I've given enough info, I don't know very much about computers.

I tried that but still get the same message, any other suggestions/advice would be much appreciated.

I found that link just by googling. There were other hits as well, maybe check it out. I simply copied the error message verbatim and placed it in google. It's a great way to track down error messages and fixes for them.
