View Full Version : Problem Installing Epson All-in-One Printer

Hi all.

I'm having trouble installing the software of my Epson All-in-One printer.

Here's the problem.

When I insert the CD it says "Application Error: This application cannot run."

I don't now what to do? Its not giving many options to work with. I have a WinXP so I'm up to date. Thanks for any help.

Please post the model of your Epson All in One.
Also, are you loading it as Administrator in XP?
Is this the same PC you were posting another thread about earlier this evening where network connection folder was empty?

The Epson Stylus CX4600. I am loading as an administrator. And yes it is the same PC with the other problem I posted. Can they be connected? I did a virus and spyware check, and found nothing. What could it be?

Try the latest driver from the website: Epson (http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1971351316.11018608 73@@@@&BV_EngineID=caddcdjimdhkbfdmcfjgckidnk.0&cookies=no&oid=41663&prodoid=46048266&infoType=Downloads&platform=Windows)
The site also has a patch for "smartpanel", whatever that is.

I just downloaded all the software off the Epson site and now the All-In-One works just fine. Thanks. :)

Now all I have to deal with is the stupid internet connection problem. :mad:
