can someone please help me with something, sometimes when I click on to a site or when I put a floppy disc into my A drive, I get a loud buzzing sound and a pop up comes up saying windows or program is not responding. Sometimes when I get up in the morning and my computer is buzzing loud, the noise is coming from inside my computer, can,t very well take my computer in because it doesn,t happen every day, can someone please tell me what this noise is and what it means when it says not responding, thanks for your help

It sounds like you have two differnet issues.

As for the loud buzz, this could be a fan or your hard drive. Can you tell were in the case the sound is coming from? If it is in the rear of the case I would suspect a fan and if the sound is more toward the front it could be your hard drive.

When you get the message that your program is not responding, are you always trying to open the same program or does it occur with different programs?

Sometimes when you CPU gets overheated you hear the buzzing sound. Check your CPU fan first. It might be a program trying to use the sound card and it has problem with the soundcard, check your soundcard in the device manager see if it is working ok. If memory stick is kind of loose in its socket you hear a buzzing noise. Check that too let us know, we might comeup with other causes for the buzzing noise like a non-functiong power supply or else.
