Hi there every one.
iv got a tricky one if any one has any ideas.

when i closed my internet browser down i got a general failure error
carn`t remember what is was but the system hung

did a hard reset and the dos came up with the following

Keyboard Error
floppy failure
hard Drive failure
memory failure

i removed all the cards exept for the

graphics card
32 meg of ram
hard disk
and all the cables exept for the keyboard and mouse

and the system still hung state after it had detected the ide units

when i removed the keyboard it ran as normal but dident load windows
normaly. It did run it in safe mode.

after a will it completely gave up the gost
all the components card/memory/keyboard/ex work fine in a new board

the boards is a
Tekram Pl640-A4E

When did this happen?


What had you been doing prior to it happening?

Had you noticed an unusual amount of drive activity prior to it dying?

no.

the system had been working perfectly

i hadent installed any new software
or hardware

all of the old cards\drives\cpu work fine with a new board
