Hello;


when the programmer write the operating system ,Are they should to read the architecture software development manual?
And if i want to understand any processor ,am i should to read it too?

In the USA there is a very old acronym (letters for the beginning of words) amongst IS departments that is RTMF. That acronym translates instructions to mean "Read The Fu****g Manual?!!

My short answer to you is YES. I don't know what the topic is related to your question but if you want to learn anything about CPU architecture and OS software development there is not anything you should not read.

Let me add to this by saying that unless you are writing an OS for an architecture you already know, reading the manual is not only helpful but necessary in this case.
