I bought a battery for my LAPTOP Compaq Armada M 300. I tried to put the battery in, which I did after a little scuffle and then I tried to start up my pc. I have put in the battery in the wrong way. Right after that, my laptop never started. It tries to start and then it would fail and then after a few seconds it will try to restart again automatically and this process would continue. After that I relalized that I put in the battery in a wrong way and it may have caused power failure or something. I tried without the battery with the power cord and still nothing, the same cycle of trying to start occurs. :confused:

Is there any fix for this problem and if so what is it? :confused:

I don't hold out high hopes.

Please remove the battery and inspect the connectors on the battery and the laptop to make sure nothing is bent.

It is never a good idea to force things especially with notebooks.

Please re-insert the battery, correctly this time.

There should be a light that indicates if it is charging.

Let it charge for at least 12 hours and then try to start the unit. Let us know what happens.
