Hi, I'm having trouble entering the BIOS settings, it's making a continuous beeping sound and nothing comes up on the screen, how do i enter the BIOS without changing anything on the motherboard???

during boot up hold down one of the following
<Del>
<F1>
<F10>
If it's a compaq ALT-CTRL-Esc or F10
Dell-F1 or DEL
Gateway and HP-F1
PB-F1 orF2

what are the system specs,Beep is kind of concerning,

Without knowing what BIOS it is I can't get far, but continuous beeps is usually either video or memory problem. Check PC Guide BIOS troubleshooting (http://www.pcguide.com/ts/x/sys/beep/index.htm) and you should be able to look it up for your specific BIOS.

That said, try reseating memory chips and video cards, try the video card and memory in another machine, or different ones in that machine. Remember to UNPLUG it or turn off the main power switch before removing any components.

Yoda Getting into BIOS requires video...not jumping on you, but the no video problem has to be dealt with before any key combinations are an issue. Don't worry about it, that's how you learn. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
