Replaced a PC PS with noisy fan (power still good) with ATX P4 300W PS.
Power comes up, Pentium fan runs; PS fan runs; main power light on front panel is on; HD fan is on solid; floppy light is on solid; Cd-ROM drive light is on solid.

Old PS had 9 connectors - 20 pin MoBo connector, 4 4-pin connectors for CD-ROM, HD; 4 miniature 4-pin connectors for floppy, etc.

New PS has 11 connectors - 1 6-pin, rectangular, WTX P3 I think; 1 4-pin, square, WTX P4/5 I think; 2 4-pin connectors for floppy; 6 4-pin for HD, CD-ROM; 1 20-pin connector for MoBo.

MoBo is 2-year old ATX 603TCF. It has no sockets for P-3 or P4/5 connectors. I've checked power -- +12,+5,+3.3,-12, and it's all there and various connectors. Put back old PS and everything works OK. What am I missing?

Help.

Update: Simple fixes are always the best. The MoBo connector was not properly seated. After pushing hard and often, the system started working.
