i tried to connect my a new vga box to my pc i bought off ebay. if your not aware, a vga box is a wee box that you connect your playstation 2 to and you can play it on the computer monitor. problem is it didnt seem to work for me. unfortunately thats not the big problem.
the screen monitor is wrong, wouldnt seem to work for me and i 99% was sure i put all the leads back where they were supposed to be.
it brings up the boot up process, you know the black screen with the writing, then wait a wee sec and then the black screen and windows with the wee blue bar moving left and right saying its loading.
the screen then goes to black and it usually goes onto windows. but it doesnt this time, it clicks and the screen led turns to orange but it doesnt switch itself off, its like it turns automatically onto standby.
i tried safe mode and it let me in and then i restarted but it does the same thing.
when i was in safe the screen was too large so i went into properties, changed it to 800x600 and the thing happened, it blinked off, the tower still making noise but the orange led light is on.
