Hi, I am looking for help, and wondering if anyone could help me. I have an old pc (1998 quantex model) that got wiped and i'm trying to set up. It can't connect to the web and has display and audio problems. Basically, i don't know what type/brand of graphics card i have in it, and the standard VGA PCI one being used only gives me 16 colours. I'm having real trouble finding drivers! Can anyone offer a solution? Thankyou!

Welcome to the forum. The group here will help you get this beast up and running:

To see what video card you have:

1) Unplug the computer

2) Open the case

3) Look at the Video card for a name and model number.

4)Try to get a friend to downlaod the drivers and get them on your hard drive

5) Install the drivers

As for other problems, you have to provide more detail.
It can't connect to the web? What does that mean? The modem won't dial?
Do you have DSL or cable? Just not enough info

Right click on my computer
choose properites
Click on the device manager tag
Make a note of what is there under display adapter and also note if there
are any red x's or yellow exclamation points or question marks next to any
device.
