I'd like to know if any of y'all know the maximum distance a keyboard can be placed away from its receiver and still function properly? And, if you have this information, where can I find it? Thanks.

I kept pressing keys and walked backwards from my Logitech's receiver and made it to 13' before it stopped working.

My daughter can about 12-15" depending on how many dirty clothes are between the transponder and the keyboard. Less when there is a blouse on top of the transponder...... :D

I have a Liteon (http://www.liteon.com/liteon/index.jsp) Model SK7100 ( they don’t show that model anymore) and have walked over 20 feet away with full control. Receiver and comp are on a bench at the back of my garage and I can set the keyboard on the hood of my truck outside the garage and control the volume and tract selection in Media player. They advertise 10 feet for the Model 7260 but that is 27 MHz RF. Mine is IR. I guess that makes a difference. Works like the remote on a TV.
As for where to look for this info, any manufacturer should advertise this on their site, if nothing else, in the Tech info for the product.
